Wearable Garment
Today i have finished making my wearable garment and my max patch. I have soldered all of the wires on to the to the keyboard chip and made the wires go through the shirt and through holes i cut in the sleeve. The wires are then connected to the donut like metal pieces which are glued to the sleeve. I soldered these pieces together. Each of the metal piece is connected to individual part of the key board chip. On the other side of the keyboard chip there was one wire connected to it. This was the main wire that when touched on each of the different wires in will make a different key. I put this wore through the right arm of the shirt then made a whole in the glove. There is small metal pieces on each of the fingers of the glove. There is a wire that connects each ends of the fingers together so i don't have to re connect each finger to the key board chip. I have made the max patch now so it just plays sounds, so when i wear my garment i am able to play 5 different tunes and make small simple piano songs by just tapping my the pieces of metal from the glove to the pieces of metal on the arm. I also have a 6th piece which when you tap it will start a continuous drum beat. I wasn't able to get the drum beat to loop so i just made it real long and will key going for about 2 minutes until you switch it off.
